Do you offer free shipping?

Yes! Every Birch mattress ships for free (in a box!) in the contiguous USA.* All Birch products are made to order, and are assembled and shipped from our Arizona factory within several days, depending on the specific product. Please refer to specific product pages for shipping estimates. Birch Elite Mattresses are shipped in two boxes. *Shipping rates apply for Alaska, Hawaii, and Canada. See Terms & Conditions of Sale.

How does your 120 day trial work

You have 120 nights to sleep on your mattress: if you are not completely satisfied for any reason, we’ll organize a seamless exchange for a mattress of greater or equal value, or facilitate a return. We do ask that you take a minimum of 30 days to adjust to your mattress and break it in. Learn more

Please note: there is a $99 removal fee for all mattress returns to cover the cost of picking up your mattress. We do our very best to donate, recycle, or otherwise repurpose all returned mattresses. 

What if I want to return my mattress?

We get it: every person is unique with their own different sleep preferences, and you need to see how it feels. If you’re not 100% satisfied with your mattress, we will do everything we can to make it right. Go ahead and sleep on your mattress: you have 120 nights to try it out. If you aren’t completely satisfied for any reason, we’ll organize a seamless exchange for a mattress of equal or greater value, or facilitate a free, fast return. Do you offer financing?

What if something is wrong with my mattress when I get it?

Don’t worry: your new Birch mattress is protected against defects in workmanship and materials by a Limited Lifetime Warranty, and claims are straightforward. This limited warranty covers all manufacturing defects, and gives you certain legal rights. Learn more

How are the age ranges for the two sides of the Birch Kids Natural Mattress determined?

In developing the Birch Kids Natural Mattress, we followed industry guidance around the support required for young sleepers as they grow. The firmer side of our mattress provides a bit more support for kids who are transitioning from a crib mattress. As kids grow and develop the softer side offers a bit more plush comfort. Learn more

What if my child has a latex allergy?

Natural latex hypoallergenic and anti-microbial: it is not susceptible to molding and accumulating harsh microbes, and acts as a natural barrier to dust mites. We recommend, however, that customers with a latex allergy consult with their medical provider before purchasing.

What if my child is big for their age?

The age ranges provided on both sides of the Birch Kids Natural Mattress are meant only to offer guidance. Every child sleeps a bit differently and you know your child best! We encourage you and your child to test out both sides of the mattress to determine which side works best for them. Learn more

Does the Birch Kids Natural Mattress work on bunk beds?

We designed the Birch Kids Natural Mattress with bunk beds in mind and limited the overall height of the mattress to 8 inches in order to be compatible with most bunk bed setups. We do highly recommend, though, that you consult the specific safety guidelines for your bunk bed to confirm whether it is compatible with an 8-inch mattress.
