What is it? How does it work?
At Birch, we’re working hard to make your mattress buying experience more convenient than ever before. White Glove Delivery by Ryder offers you professional assistance with the unpacking and setup of your new Birch products as well as the removal of any mattresses or support bases being replaced by a Birch product.
We’ve partnered with our friends at Ryder to complete each White Glove Delivery appointment so you won’t have to lift a finger.
With our White Glove Delivery service, Ryder will come into your home, unpack your new Birch products, and set them up in your desired location. The team will also remove your old mattress and dispose of any packaging. Once removed, Ryder will do its best to donate or repurpose your old mattress.
On the checkout page, you will have the opportunity to enter your shipping address, and if eligible, add White Glove Delivery by Ryder to your order.
Please note: White Glove Delivery services are not eligible for promotional discounts. The price of your service will be reflected in full in your cart at checkout.
Here’s a step-by-step guide to how it works:
STEP 1. Place Your Order
On the checkout page, you can choose between standard shipping and White Glove Delivery by Ryder. The service you choose will appear under "Shipping and Govt. Fees" once successfully added.
STEP 2. Schedule Your Service
Once your order has been placed, you will receive a confirmation email from Birch confirming the items in your order and providing additional shipping details.
Your items will ship to Ryder, our White Glove Delivery partner. Ryder will contact you to schedule a delivery and setup time (usually 7-15 business days after your order processes.)
STEP 3. Your Service Is Completed
On the day of your scheduled White Glove Delivery appointment, Ryder will notify you when the delivery team is about 30 minutes away.
The delivery team will bring your items into your home, set them up in the room of your choice, and haul away old items and packaging.
Please Note: If your order includes bedding items like sheets, pillows, or protectors, these will ship directly to you and will not be included in the White Glove Delivery process.
